#1: Any conjurer can tell you — though most won’t — that physical items are never created from scratch.
Wait.. what’s this? Why #1, not #65? What happened to careless?
Fear not, I will finish Careless is still in progress, just on a temporary hold (for one month.) During that month, I’ll be writing two short stories, and the Sentence of the Day will be taken from them. Both the short stories tie in to other work. This, the first of them, ties in to Yagmar the Barbarian. It follows one of the characters from that story, and fills in more about how magic in that world actually works, which is a little more complex perhaps than Oghni made it out to be, or is even aware. (After all, as he kept saying, he is no wizard.)
It will be made available through my Patreon in March, and will be included in the paperback (and ebook) of Yagmar the Barbarian: The Singer and the Staff when it is released in April or May. (Watch this space for the latest information on all of this, or subscribe to my newsletter.)
The second short story, currently untitled, will tie into the Delokita books. It will give more information on certain things hinted at in Thoughtless, and also touch on events in Careless and the Savage Worlds scenario A Thoughtless Adventure.
It will also be a stand-alone short story, and I’ll be submitting it for inclusion in an upcoming anthology.
